That is why we are proud to carry several cordless operating systems that make your window treatments safer.
When it comes to safety and durability, plantation shutters are at the top of their class. These classic window treatments provide light control and privacy all while elevating the look of any room. They require no cords to operate and all three styles are built from durable materials. Heritance® Hardwood Shutters are made from 100 percent hardwood and will add natural beauty to your home along with safety. NewStyle® Hybrid Shutters are moisture-resistant and can be equipped with SoftClose™ louvers that will keep little fingers from getting slammed. Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters are the most durable and can even be equipped with PowerView® Automation, which allows you to operate your shutters from a remote or smartphone app. Plantation shutters are a fantastic addition to any home.
LiteRise® & SimpleLift™ Operating Systems
If you’re looking for cordless manual operation of your window treatments, these two systems are going to be your best choices. The SimpleLift™ operating system is available on any of our horizontal blinds and features a thick bottom rail with a locking system. All you need to do is press down on the button and then push up or pull down on the rail to move the blinds. The blinds will stay firmly locked in place when the button is released. The LiteRise® operating system takes it a step further by eliminating the thick rail and lock button. This proprietary system allows you to simply push up or pull down on the bottom of the window treatment. It is also guaranteed to stay put in whatever position you choose. LiteRise® is available on several window treatments, including horizontal blinds, roller shades, solar shades, honeycomb shades, woven wood shades, roman shades, and sheer shades. Both of these operating systems are great for increased child safety in your home.
