Whether it’s combining Roman shades and designer side panels, installing a vertical version of the energy-efficient Duette® Honeycomb Shades, or creating stylish valances for your roller shades, we try and do a little bit of everything. When it comes to versatile window treatments , Hunter Douglas Skyline® Gliding Window Panels are at the top of the list. It may surprise you to learn that they are great for more than just your windows.
As A Window Treatment
The standard way to utilize these panels is as a window treatment. Skyline® Gliding Window Panels are especially suited for large expansive windows. Of course, that doesn’t mean they can’t be used on smaller windows as well. All of our window treatments are custom fit for your windows, which means you get these panels at the perfect height for any window in your home. They are also available in several different opacities, allowing you to select solar screens that you can see through or opaque fabrics that will completely block out the light.
For Sliding Glass Doors
Another great option for these beautiful window treatments is for covering sliding glass doors. Because they stack neatly to the side when open, Skyline® Gliding Window Panels make accessing the doors easy. They also provide a level of insulation to help with energy loss through the doorway. Because of the unique two-channel track system, Skyline® Gliding Window Panels also have the slimmest headrail on the market, so you aren’t giving up a lot of room to a thick window treatment.
As A Wall Coverings
Skyline® Gliding Window Panels are available in well over 500 different fabric options. This includes solid and sheer colors, stunning patterns, solar screens, and natural woven textiles. With all of these gorgeous options, it’s no surprise that these panels make a great wall covering. The panels are also joined at both the top and the bottom, which means they aren’t going to wave around or get tangled along the walls. The patterns especially can turn plain walls into beautiful backdrops.
As Room Dividers
Because Skyline® Gliding Window Panels are designed with floor-to-ceiling windows in mind, they also make fantastic room dividers. You can use them to give your bed some privacy in a studio apartment or to divide up workspaces in an office building.
